Help Someone in Need
Serving others is a vital part of being the Body of Chirst. Through service we offer outreach to our congregation, community and world.
The Shepherd's Pantry
The Shepherd's Pantry provides non-perishable, emergency food assistance to those in need. The pantry is open in the Good Shepherd main lobby on Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. Food donations can be brought to the Good Shepherd main lobby. Most needed items include:
The Shepherd's Garden
Loacted just east of the main building the Shepherd's Garden provides fresh fruits and vegetables to supplement the Shepherd's Pantry. Because of the abundant harvest, items also are available on Sunday mornings for those attending worship.
Good Shepherd Clothing Giveaway
Good Shepherd hosts a Clothing Giveaway each fall. This event provides FREE clothing to anyone who needs it. There are no eligibility requirements. This is a great way to help our neighbors, but also the environment by recycling, reusing, and restoring usable clothing.
Helping Hands Caring Hearts
Helping Hands Caring Hearts is a ministry that provides help to those affiliated with Good Shepherd who are ill or hospitalized, have suffered a death in the family, or have had a new baby. The primary focus is providing meals, but the group also is willing to offer lawn mowing, transportation, emergency babysitting, housework, and laundry.
